Sierra’s Buffet: Reviews & Ratings
Best bang for the buck breakfast buffet possibly in all of Nevada. For a $10 price, I had pretty low expectations. Thankfully I was wrong. We got there right at 7 AM, the line was maybe 5 minutes long at most. Very satisfying buffet with a large selection of hot and cold items. A waitress brings you the drinks so we tipped her $2, she was friendly and professional. The buffet room looked a little worn, but not a big deal. We were staying next door at Eureka but we are going to come here for breakfast from now on. Also, NO club card is required to get the $10 price!!
It has been a couple years since the last time I ate here , but came by on Wednesday after hiking Valley of Fire. The last time I came here they had Bbq and Fried Chicken , so I was hoping for the same. It was Home Style Cooking Night and it was like $16.00 , but I used my points and a $5 Food Voucher I had. I was sat down immediately and the restaurant was about half full. They took my drink order before I even sat down. I went up to the buffet and it was less choices than the last time I came. The only bbq they had was strips of tri tip in bbq sauce and I got 2 small pieces to try and I didn't care for them. They did have the Fried Chicken , so I got a big breast and it was so good and juicy and the breading was perfect. Mashed Potatoes with Turkey Gravy was spot on , they also had brown gravy. I was surprised there was no corn on the cob like last time. Chicken Cordon Bleu which I love was just okay , and a big Swedish Meatball that was just okay also. For desert I got the Hot Cherry Cobbler which was very good , a small taster of Fruit Cobbler which was like Pineapple and Apple maybe I didn't really like it I would have rathe had Peach Cobbler , and a small taster of Bread Pudding which was okay. They had Cookies , Pies , Cakes , and a Ice Cream machine also. They were good about coming by and giving me a refill of my Arnold Palmer also. They have a Steak Night , Seafood Night , and a Prime Rib and Crab Leg Night also. On the Carving Station they only had Turkey on my night. I would recommend coming here since the price is right and the food is decent. I wish they would have had the bbq like last time. The Pork Ribs were really good. I definitely recommend the Fried Chicken here , it's damn good.
This buffet at Virgin River casino is decent. The food is usually pretty good. We eat at this buffet when we go to the Virgin River casino or any casino in mesquite. The service and servers are very good and on top of getting your drinks and cleaning your table as you are done with each plate. The servers always seem to have a very good attitude. They have Uno Pizza on the buffet. I do recommend giving this a try.
Like Nevada casino hotels used to be. Ok, but $23 now. I went on Beer & BBQ night and got a Modelo included. Patrons weren’t middle America but 40% America if you understand. You will find something you like and there is only one other restaurant in the place. It’s the cheapest hotel in town.
Decided to try this spot out after getting hungry from the slots. I was pleasantly surprised at the price as it was cheap at around $16 per person. The selection of food was only from a salad bar and a line of hot food with a dessert section. The food was not bad and some things were actually very good like the Chicken Cordon Bleu, and some of that steak in sauce. There is a make-your-own pasta bar and a carving station that was all very good, obviously not Wynn buffet good but for the price and my hunger it was the best I have ever had. The only reason for the 4 is because at the end of the day I wasn’t blown away by the food although very good value. Service was very good though, everyone was very friendly. Overall will come back to try Lobster Fridays!! (Don’t judge my plate of food hahaha!!)
Ambience was really nice — gave off classic Old Vegas vibes. The staff was super friendly and welcoming. I enjoyed the live Italian station, and the salad bar was fresh and well-stocked. Overall, a good place for a relaxed and tasty buffet experience.
Service is great. The food is always superb. We eat here almost weekly. You can gamble and have drinks. We have even bowled and taken the kids and grandkids to the arcade. Love it here!! WE BRING THE WHOLE FAMILY AND HAVE BEEN MAKING GREAT MEMORIES FOR YEARS NOW!!!
We came on Wednesday for dinner at 3 pm. This buffet is a great value if you can get a 2 for 1 coupon, which is what we had. The dining area is huge, and the seats are comfortable. The cashier person was straight to the point, not too friendly, but the host and waiters are super friendly. In general, the food is average in flavor and quality. You can definitely make a big salad so many of the ingredient selections available. The meats and fish were very average. The pizza was a bit dried out. Lot's of drinks to choose from and they are included. Alcohol is not included in the price. There's a pasta station that is really good. We made shrimp pasta with Alfredo sauce and were satisfied. The dessert selections were plentiful with many pies and cakes. There's even sugar free desserts. The soft serve ice cream was a bit drippy. Overall, it's an average buffets. If you're really hungry, you will be very satisfied eating here.
